Skyrail Return | Cruise Ship | Yorkeys Knob

This tour is for cruise ship passengers arriving via tender at Yorkeys Knob. It includes a return journey on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and return transfers between Yorkeys Knob and the Skyrail terminal.

Overview
A shuttle picks up from the front steps of the Yorkeys Knob Boating Club and transfers you to the Skyrail Smithfield Terminal. From there, you travel one way on Skyrail over the rainforest canopy to Kuranda, stopping at Red Peak and Barron Falls along the way. After free time in Kuranda Village, return to Smithfield on Skyrail and take a shuttle back to Yorkeys Knob in time for your tender.

Skyrail will meet all pre-booked cruise ship passengers at Yorkeys Knob. Once you’re on the tender, contact Skyrail to confirm your pickup — their contact details are in your booking confirmation. Pickup and return times are arranged to suit your ship’s schedule.

Skyrail from Smithfield to Kuranda
Board Skyrail for your rainforest journey. Stop at Red Peak and Barron Falls for elevated boardwalks, lookouts, and rainforest interpretation points.

Kuranda Village Free Time
Arrive at Kuranda Terminal and enjoy free time to explore the village. Shops, markets, and cafes are located a short walk from the terminal.

Return Journey on Skyrail
Ride Skyrail back to the Smithfield Terminal. Stop again at the mid-stations if you wish, or travel straight through to meet your return transfer.

Return Transfer to Yorkeys Knob
A coach will return you from the Skyrail terminal to the Yorkeys Knob Boating Club in time to meet your ship’s tender.
